How we work
Professor Jodie McVernon, Director of Doherty Epidemiology, will be Technical Director of this project. She has 15 years’ experience of modelling capacity development in Australia. She will be supported by an Executive with strong regional connections and development experience. The group will convene by teleconference monthly with the Project and Education coordinators to review progress. Each Executive member will lead an activity area, and two will be responsible for lead liaison with each of the regional partner institutions and programs on a bi-monthly basis.
Theme working groups represent teams of individuals with specific content knowledge and/or skillsets identified to meet program objectives. These groups are not silos, and we anticipate significant cross-working as needed, including potential to recruit additional expertise from aligned collaborator networks in SPECTRUM and beyond. Focused project teams will configure their own communications to assist collaboration and monitor progress, aided by the project coordinator.
