Doherty Institute, University of Melbourne

Dr James Ong is studying for a Masters of Public Health at the University of Melbourne, specialising in Health Program Evaluation, Infectious Disease Epidemiology and Epidemiology and Biostatistics.. He has previously completed a PhD from Monash University, focused on the NLRP3 inflammasome (a protein complex in the immune system), particularly on how it works and where it can be found in health and disease. James has worked at the University of Melbourne on various research and evaluation work. He is currently based at the Doherty Institute as a program evaluator at SPARK.
